Maranatha:  Campers will have all the great opportunities you have come to expect from MBC: awesome worship, individual devotion time, and building quality relationships, set on a backdrop of a fun and memorable experience.  Campers will be housed in the MPB retreat center and, with the exception of sack lunches at the stables, will have their meals at the camp.   MBC will provide transportation to and from Sac River Stables. (30 minutes from MBC near Willard, MO)

Sac River Stables:  Dawn O’Connor, the stable operator, is a graduate of SMSU with a B.S. in Animal Science with an emphasis on equine.  She is also a licensed CHA Riding Instructor and a AQHA Professional Horseman with more than ten years experience.   Dawn and her staff are committed to providing a safe, fun, hands on experience in a Christian atmosphere.  While at the stables campers will participate in all aspects of care of the horses including riding, feeding, and grooming.  A form from SRS will be sent for parents to fill out for their campers after the MBC online registration is complete.

Basic Schedule:

Day one:

Arrive & Check in at MBC @ 10:00 AM.  Eat lunch, then go to Sac River Stables and spend the afternoon. Dinner back at MBC. Evening will be spent in swimming, Bible study/worship, canteen, and other activities.

Day two:

Wake up, eat breakfast at MBC, go to the Stables, and spend the morning and afternoon there.  Sack lunch at the stables.  Dinner back at MBC, and evening activities will include swimming, Bible study/worship, & canteen.

Day three:

Up early, breakfast at MBC, then go to the Stables and spend the morning there.  Sack lunch at the stables. Afternoon will have canteen, swimming, one more Bible study, and clean/pack up time.  Pick up campers at 4:00 PM.

The cost of this camp is $140 and limited to 20 campers per session.
